The MX2 is a 2 place Unlimited category
monoplane

The MX2 is the most modern 2 place aerobatic plane built. It out classes all other unlimited aerobatic mono planes, with superior high speed, and slow flight characteristics. It is the only all carbon fiber aerobatic aircraft being manufactured today. It was developed using only aerospace grade carbon and adhesives that can be found in modern military fighter aircraft today. There is currently only a hand full of these aircraft flying through out the world.
The plane was developed by MXR Technologies after 2 years of R&D and 5 years of flight testing. This particular plane was introduced to the world in March of 2006 in Abu Dhabi at the 2006 season opener RedBull Airrace, where it was flown by Michael Goulian. It is the factory demonstrator for MXR, and no expense has been spared in it manufacturing and maintenance.
